As you might already have heard, the Peterborough Chrysler Indoor Amateur Retriever Trials are coming back to the Kawartha Adventure Show, which will take place at the Evinrude Centre in Peterborough from April 20th – 22nd.

The competition will run qualifying for the A and B division on the Friday evening followed by the main skills on the Saturday and the top four dogs in each division will come back Sunday to compete for GRAND CHAMPION in their division.

Trial skills will be in a mock marsh on half of the areana floor to simulate a complete duck hunting situation, complete with decoys, duck calls and the dogs will be retrieving scented rubber training bumpers.

The retriever trials are open to any persons and their dogs, as long as the dogs do not hold any Hunting Retriever titles and has been trained only by the owner/handler.

Cost to register for the competition is $25 per dog, which includes your admission into the Adventure Show. All dogs must be pre-registered by April 6th, 2001.
