Information on Sunday Gun Hunting for Migratory Birds in Southern Ontario
From the website of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources

The Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS), Environment Canada, has made changes to the Migratory Birds Regulations to expand areas where Sunday gun hunting can occur in Southern Ontario.

For the 2007 season, Sunday gun hunting for migratory birds has been expanded from Wildlife Management Units 46 to 50 and 52 to 59 in the Central District for Waterfowl were it was previously allowed, to include Wildlife Management Units 60 to 72 inclusive, 83 and 95 in the Southern District for Waterfowl (see pages 8 and 9 of the 2007 provincial Summary of the Hunting Regulations for waterfowl district boundaries). Sunday gun hunting for migratory birds in all of the above WMUs is permitted only in those municipalities where Sunday gun hunting is permitted by the provincial regulations as indicated on the maps in this section.

There will be no Sunday gun hunting allowed for migratory birds in WMUs 73-82 and 84-94 during the 2007 season.
