Download the event flyerOn Saturday August 9, 2008 the Barrie District Hunters & Anglers Conservation Club will be hosting the first annual Black Powder shoot in conjunction with the O.F.A.H. Zone H quarterly meeting and campout weekend.
Shoot is open to all O.F.A.H. Zone H members. There will be trophies awarded to the top shooter, high womens score and top O.F.A.H. Zone H club (total score of top 3 shooters from each club will make up that clubs team score).
The shoot will be open to any traditional or inline muzzleloading rifle with any metallic sight shooting a single round ball.
The shoot will consist of 20 to 30 rounds at various paper, metallic and novelty targets at ranges of 25 to 100 yards.
The cost will be $15.00 which includes lunch being served at noon. Shoot will begin at 9:00 am. followed by a beef bar-b-que in the evening.
All O.F.A.H. Zone H members are welcome to attend the shoot, campout for the weekend and attend the quarterly meeting on Sunday morning commencing at 10:00 am.
Membership will be available during the weekend.
