COVID-19 forces cancellation of OFAH Conference on Lyme Disease

Due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the OFAH Conference on Lyme disease, which was scheduled for May 26-28, 2020.

Considering the unprecedented times we’re currently facing, and apart from the obvious need to heed the warnings from all levels of governments and health agencies across the country, we feel it would be irresponsible for us to host a conference on a public health topic in the midst of a very dangerous global pandemic.

Due to many organizational and topic-specific considerations, not to mention the significant uncertainty we are facing with COVID-19, we are unable to re-schedule the event this year, however, at this point, it remains our intention to build on the significant foundation established for our 2020 event to host a successful OFAH Conference on Lyme disease at Deerhurst Resort, May 18-20, 2021.

We appreciate your understanding as we work through this, and look forward to bringing you more information about the 2021 conference. Please stay tuned for more information.

From the entire OFAH team, we wish you all the best in keeping safe and staying healthy during these difficult times.

Thank you.
