INVITATION TO ALL MEDIA

Ice Fishing Seminars Set to Start While Anglers Wait For Safe Ice

Despite a poor start to the 2015/16 winter ice fishing season due to weather, HT Pro Staffers Big Jim McLaughlin, Dave Chong, and Wil Wegman are set to begin hosting their annual ice fishing seminars with stops in Keswick, Oshawa, Ottawa and Peterborough.

Those in attendance are sure to hear about many proven techniques to make the most of this winter’s ice fishing season.  With an increased knowledge of popular winter species including lake trout, whitefish, sunfish, black crappie and yellow perch, participants should increase their catch this winter even in a shortened season.

Other topics will include ice safety, conservation, electronics, and making the most of the vast array of ice tackle on the market today. There will be great draw prizes thanks to HT and Navionics and admission is free for all those who bring a supply of non-perishable food items for the local Food Bank.

When and where?
Saturday, Jan. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m.
