Lessons We Learned From Dad

If special fishing memories come to mind when you think of Dad, it means that outdoor traditions keep your family strong. Where would Ontario’s fi sh and wildlife be without lessons we learned from Dad?

Pride in personal outdoor ethics and a down-to-earth desire to give back to nature inspires a special volunteer commitment. Humble and hardworking people, just like Dad, are taking extraordinary steps to improve the great outdoors.

Restoring the health of coldwater streams, stocking walleye, salmon and trout, planting trees, hosting kids fishing events and making a difference for local conservation work – these are some of the volunteer initiatives supported by members of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. We need more help.

Your admiration for volunteers who stay up late and give up weekends to help raise and stock over 8 million fish in hundreds of public lakes every year means that you don’t take outdoor opportunities for granted.

Your gift of OFAH membership, or your very own personal membership, means that you’re supporting programs and volunteers that do the heavy-lifting for our natural resources. And that’s sure to make Dad proud.
