The VOICE of Anglers and Hunters since 1928

News & Media

All media inquires involving OFAH policy, programs and staff can be directed to OFAH Communications Manager Shawn Cayley at (705) 748-6324 ext. 270 or

As outlined in the OFAH Strategic Plan, many of the organization’s short, medium and long-term goals are directly related to communications. Whether it’s through our flagship media holdings – Angler & Hunter Television, Ontario OUT OF DOORS magazine and Angler & Hunter Radio – our member’s only magazine – Angler & Hunter Hotline – press releases, social media, PSAs or the numerous television, radio and print interviews our staff conduct each year, OFAH communications helps ensure the merits of hunting, angling and conservation are spotlighted each year.

Social media

Whether your in the turkey blind, the tree stand, the bass boat or fishing off the dock, we know your smart phone is likely nearby. Share with us your prize buck, your big catch and your first-time experiences by visiting us on Facebook ( and following us on Twitter (@ofah). Let us be your one-stop-shop for outdoors news and help us promote hunting, fishing, conservation and the great outdoors province-wide.

Angler & Hunter Hotline remains one of the best tools for directly communicating with our 100,000 members. In 2014, the members-only magazine was given a complete re-design from cover to back. We’re using info graphics and images and in-depth features to better bring to life the issues that matter most to our members. The 16-page magazine is produced 10 times per year and appears in Ontario OUT of DOORS magazine as part of OFAH membership.
