More than 100 vendors are expected for the St. Joseph Island Hunters & Anglers Association Outdoors & Gun Show, which returns to the Desbarats Arena/Johnson Township Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 3, 2026.
Visitors can purchase hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and outdoors wares. The event will also include food kiosks, a silent auction, and Kids Zone sporting an archery/casting/tomahawk-throwing/nerf-gun range.
“The show is our largest club undertaking, with over 1,500 people anticipated to attend this year," association board chair and show coordinator Paul Glassford wrote.
The show will also exhibit the Dryden Buck, the largest buck recorded in Ontario, as well as record-setting moose antlers on loan from the Ministry of Natural Resources in Kenora.
The association is a chapter of the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters (OFAH).
“We are proud to support clubs across the province through the OFAH Community Engagement Program,” OFAH Community Engagement Coordinator Andrea Bauman stated. “Events like this highlight the strength of local clubs in bringing people together to celebrate our outdoor traditions.”
Admission to the show is based on donation. With no ATM on site, attendees should bring cash, organizers said.
