Luck of the Irish strikes in week one of OFAH Catch the Ace II

Irish eyes are smiling on Leo McGinty today.

Appropriately on St. Patrick’s Day, the dedicated OFAH member of nearly 30 years has even more reasons to be proud of his Irish roots and outdoor heritage. Mr. McGinty, with the luck of the Irish and a rich Irish surname too, is the first winner of the OFAH Catch the Ace II. His weekly pot of CTA gold is worth an impressive $4,614.

Leo turned over card #29, the King of Clubs. Interesting card choice! Card #29 delivered a nearly $400,000 Jackpot in the OFAH’s first Catch the Ace so we can assume that Leo was on a serious fishing trip!

Leo is no stranger to the game — he said he has played “every week” since this OFAH conservation fundraiser started last summer. Now Leo has a decision to make. As soon as he found out about his $4,614 win, he was about to order materials for a long-overdue kitchen renovation. However, Leo’s wife now insists on putting that prize money onto a down payment for a new side by side.

Better keep playing, Leo.

Thanks to everyone who supports the OFAH with their generous membership, donations and ticket sales.

Week #2 of Catch the Ace II starts now. A guaranteed Jackpot of $10,000 is still on the line.

Good luck.
