OFAH Insider: The importance of embracing change

We’re proud of our history of embracing change and look forward to what the next 90 years of change will bring.

Our founding members would be proud to see the Federation of today. Still going strong, and making a difference, the OFAH celebrates 90 years of commitment to fish and wildlife conservation this year.

Much has changed over the last 90 years, but what hasn’t is our grassroots approach and dedication to protecting our fishing, hunting, and trapping traditions.

Having said that, there is an old saying that goes something like this, “Change is the only constant in life.”

The OFAH has always prided itself on being proactive rather than reactive, and that has allowed us to remain your voice on all issues fish and wildlife-related. Change comes in many forms, from the way we advocate on your behalf, to membership offerings, to the way we communicate with members, supporters, and readers of Ontario OUT of DOORS magazine.

We’re proud of our history of embracing change and look forward to what the next 90 years of change will bring.
