The Kinetic Group, which owns iconic ammunition brands such as Federal and Remington, is now owned by The Czechoslovak Group.

The Kinetic Group, which owns iconic ammunition brands such as Federal and Remington, has new ownership.

The Czechoslovak Group purchased the company for $2.22 billion in December. Along with Federal and Remington, Kinetic also owns Hevi Shot, Speer, and CCI. The Czechoslovak Group also owns Fiocchi ammunition and has assets in the defence, transportation, and aerospace sectors.

Vista Outdoors, which previously owned the Federal ammunition companies and outdoors brands such as Bushnell and Primos, split the company into two divisions.

Revelyst, which was a publicly traded company that owned Bushnell and Primos, was acquired by equity firm Strategic Value Partners in January 2025.
