CWD testing locations announced

The Ministry of Natural Resources will conduct CWD monitoring in two Ontario regions during the deer seasons this fall.

The Ministry of Natural Resources will conduct Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) monitoring in two Ontario regions during the deer seasons this fall.

Testing will occur in Central Ontario Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) 56, 60, 62, 75, 76A, 76B, and 76E, and in southwestern Ontario in WMUs 94A and 94B. Freezer locations will be posted prior to the hunting season.
