Zone G Youth Camp

OFAH ZONE G YOUTH CONSERVATION CAMP
Each July the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters, Zone G holds an Outdoor Conservation Camp at the Islington Sportsmen’s Club property in the Caledon Hills. “Islington Acres” is located about an hour’s drive northwest of Toronto.  We can accommodate 24 campers ages 12 to 15. Odd numbered years are for girls, and even numbered years are for boys.

Islington Acres is nestled in the beautiful and sometimes rugged Caledon Hills east of Orangeville and just south of Highway #9. The 100-acre wooded property has a five acre pond which is ideal for swimming, canoeing, and of course fishing. Although the campers are housed in tents, the spacious clubhouse with its field stone fireplace and trophy covered walls is used for meals and shelter during inclement weather. Outdoor sessions and hands-on experiences take place throughout the property.
