Non-native aquatic species

#DYK there are over 180 non-native aquatic species currently living in the Great Lakes basin?
These species can spread between bodies of water by hitchhiking on boats and other equipment moving between waterbodies.
What can you do to stop the spread?
Boaters are now required to Clean and Drain their boat before transporting it overland.
This requirement will help remove aquatic invasive species attempting to hitchhike on your boat to a new location.
Help do your part to prevent the spread of invasive species and protect Ontario’s biodiversity.
