Report your wild pig sightings

Did you know that between April 2021 and March 2022, ministry staff removed 16 invasive wild pigs from the natural environment? It could not have happened without your reports. These actions are critical to preventing the establishment of invasive wild pigs in Ontario.

Many of the wild pigs that ministry staff investigate are found to be owned pigs that have escaped from captivity. Any pig outside of containment is a wild pig. Wild pigs can multiply quickly and cause damage to the natural environment, spread disease and compete with native wildlife.
