SUNDAY GUN HUNTING WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH APPROVED.
Earlier this week, council for the Township of Perth South voted 4-3 in favour of passing a resolution to approve Sunday gun hunting.
The OFAH would like to take this opportunity to thank all those individuals and affiliated clubs who showed their support for this initiative. Your assistance in this matter was greatly appreciated, and played a key role in seeing Sunday gun hunting approved.
The township has already forwarded the approved resolution over to the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry where it should receive final approval later this summer. Sunday gun hunting within the Township of Perth South will become official and be permitted once the official Sunday gun hunting map is updated which is scheduled to be updated next on August 31, 2021.
