The Town of Grand Valley is Ontario’s latest municipality to allow Sunday hunting.

A decision in favour the resolution was made at a council meeting on August 12, 2025. The Ministry of Natural Resources’ (MNR) amendment that will officially permit Sunday gun hunting in the municipality will take effect on April 1 as it is added to the MNR's list of municipalities that allow Sunday gun hunting.
That list, along with a map that details where Sunday gun hunting is allowed in the province can be found at: https://www.ontario.ca/page/sunday-gun-hunting
