Q: If I use my e-bike for hunting, can I carry a loaded firearm? Is it considered a motorized vehicle?

Barry LeDuc, Timmins

A: An e-bike is a vehicle under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 (FWCA), so a person may not have a loaded firearm on it. Note that the FWCA does not prohibit loaded firearms in or on motor vehicles; it prohibits loaded firearms in or on any type of vehicle. This would include even a regular bicycle.
