Since 2015, the OFAH has been working with the Municipality of Port Hope to resolve issues along the Ganaraska River. Those efforts have focused on communications and the training of police officers that are patrolling along the river.  Most recently, the OFAH and Port Hope partnered to produce a series of three short videos aimed at raising awareness for the annual salmon run, and some tips for responsible angling.  The videos can be found below and on the OFAH Facebook page as well as the OFAH YouTube channel. Being good ambassadors for the fishing community is important, and we thank all of our members for doing just that. We encourage you to share these videos with others in an effort to continue spreading the message of responsible and respectful angling across the province.
