Town of Grimsby – Discharge of Firearms and Bows By-Law
This public meeting is for town of Grimsby staff to receive input from the public in regards to the Discharge of Firearms and Bows By-Law No. 20-62.
The Town recently passed the by-law to prohibit all types of bows and cross bows from being discharged in the Town of Grimsby. The Town has received concerns from the hunting community, regarding the complete ban of bows in the Town. Council have directed staff to reach out to affected stakeholders for their input.
If you or a group that you are associated with, would like to participate in this meeting then please register with the Town Clerk by no later than November 13, 2020 at 4:30pm using the following link: grimsby.ca/dischargebylaw The Town requests that where a group is registered to speak on this issue then only one person represent the concerns of the group.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions this public meeting will be an online (Zoom) meeting, the details of which will be provided to the registrants nearer the time.
Town staff will gather the comments from the public and provide a report to Council for their information and direction.
