Canadians Concerned about CWD
WHAT IS THE CANADIANS CONCERNED ABOUT CWD?
The Canadians Concerned about CWD is a group of diverse stakeholders working to combat Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) across the country. This collaborative was formed following the 2019 OFAH Conference on CWD, where it became clear that we needed to come together to achieve meaningful action. CWD is bad for cervid species. It’s bad for the economy. It’s bad for people. This group is intended to keep interested individuals and groups across Canada and beyond connected, informed on the latest CWD news and facilitate opportunities for collaboration on public awareness and advocacy campaigns. If you would like to learn more about the Canadians Concerned about CWD or how to join, contact ccac@ofah.org.
